Ocean City is an ideal getaway for families. Local attractions, like the beach, downtown and boardwalk, have something for everyone--from toddlers to grandparents! 

NOTE ABOUT OCEAN CITY & ALCOHOL 

Ocean City is known as a “dry town,” which means that alcohol isn’t sold within city boundaries and restaurants in the city don’t serve it--including BYOB. However, this doesn't mean alcohol consumption is prohibited! You are welcome to bring and enjoy alcoholic beverages within your home.

There are a number of lovely bars and restaurants just over the bridges in Somers Point and Marmora that serve alcohol. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are available to get you there and home safely.

BEACH & BOARDWALK

The beach in Ocean City is like no other. Ocean City staffs lifeguards at certain locations during the day. Bikes are allowed on the boardwalk until noon each day and can be used on the many bikes lanes throughout the city all day. 

There's no shortage of entertainment and activities for the whole family in and around Ocean City, NJ.  Be sure to check out the official when planning your visit!
